Rob Pannell Bio
Rob Pannell is a veteran attackman in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), currently playing for the Maryland Whipsnakes. One of the most accomplished players in pro lacrosse, Rob is an 11-time All-Star, 2-time PLL All-Pro, 2018 MLL MVP, and 2-time Offensive Player of the Year.
He began his career with the New York Lizards in MLL before joining the PLL in 2020, where he played for Atlas LC and the Redwoods prior to signing with the Whipsnakes in 2025.
Internationally, Rob has won two gold medals with Team USA (2014, 2018).
At Cornell University, he won the 2013 Tewaaraton Award, was a 2-time USILA Player of the Year, 4-time All-American, and graduated as the all-time NCAA points leader with 354.
A native of Smithtown, NY, Rob also attended Deerfield Academy and now lives in New York City, where he continues to grow the game through coaching and mentorship.
