Grant Ament Bio
Grant Ament is a rising star in professional lacrosse, suiting up for Archers LC in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL). A dynamic, positionless offensive weapon, he was ranked the PLL’s No. 1 player in 2020, earned All-Pro honors at both midfield and attack in 2024 (joining only Gary Gait in league history), and has been selected as an All-Star three times.
In just his second season (2020), Ament led the league in total points with 40 and even served as All-Star Game captain in 2021. In 2024, he topped midfield scoring, secured a first-team All-Pro nod, and helped guide the Archers to their second consecutive Championship Series berth.
During his collegiate career at Penn State, Ament set the single-season assist record, became the school’s first Tewaaraton Award finalist, was honored as the 2019 Attackman of the Year and Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, and earned three-time All-American and four-time All-Big Ten accolades while captaining the team.
Ament grew up in Doylestown, PA, and attended The Haverford School, where he now serves as the offensive coordinator. He currently resides in Philadelphia.
